if you listen to old old trance (like circa 1992-96ish) youll find that a lot of the percussion in the old classics is very similar - maybe dated but still similar - and its trance |

Yes, similar to Adrenaline... but Adrenaline was / still is a great dance floor bomb. Purple Haze guise is pretty reliable for dark moody stuff! |

While there are some trance tracks out there that may fit into what you describe, this isn't one of them. Did you even listen to it? This is a trance track, pure and simple. Its a good one too as are all the Purple haze productions because of the moody melody, great percussion and excellent groove.
Absolutely nothing tech-house about this nor does it in anyway sound like its trying to be.. |

I read that, too. It may appear funny, but he has probably realized he is popular enough to finally release a track under one of his aliases. I like that track from the very first listen and couldn't agree more with what Damerchi wrote. |

No.
Old trance has energy. This has a 1-2-1-2 groove which just doesn't work well. |
