Logic Pro 9 apparently was released Thursday.
The "Flex Editing" Tool is just astounding (check the link halfway down the page, entitled "Editing in Logic Pro 9")

(The feature of Logic that has drawn the most criticism over the years is audio editing -- especially compared to Ableton.)
Looks like another $200 in studio investment. |

Frank from the people (producers) I've spoke to, it is....should be $200 for the upgrade, no?

Yeah it's $200 for the upgrade, which is what I'm still weighing in on. And I'm already moved in, but my monitors/keyboard and stuff are all still in NJ. I'll be good to go in a couple weeks though :) |

yo guys if u ever need a moving company let me know cause i work for one of the biggest moving company in the tri state area... and how is logic i've been trying to descide if i wanna get logic or ableton |

| Now that Logic is becoming so user-friendly, I would recommend buying it Cris. |

| imo Ableton is best for performing, Logic is best for producing |

really i guess once i get my macbook or macbook pro ill get ableton and logic and give it a try would i be able to get a quick tutorial from u fellow TA's who are dj's / producers..... |

Quick tutorial is an oxymoron, haha. Be prepared to spend a looooong time getting used to it ;) |
