Carlo dropped a seriously grooving set at Stereo. At times I felt that he had better control of the crowd than Dubfire. Nonetheless, Dubfire's set was really good.. proper grungy spacey techno with a hint of breaks (which got me going nuts... ahhh breaks). My only complaint about Dubfire's mixing these days is that he lets some tracks drag on for way too long.. He was doing the same thing at Guv last time he was there.
It was my first time in Stereo and I had an awesome time.. great venue, nice layout, crowd was good, speakers were clear.. would be much better if they work on expanding their smoking area. |
