106 degrees. Lots of rolling underaged raver kids running around practically naked. Whoo hoo! Its gonna be epic!!!
I'm only going cause I got a friend here who loves Irene. And since its like 10 mins from my house I figured if I could find a way to get comped I'd go. And thanks to Beth and DJ Dan, I'm going :D
Guess 5 years of working for Giant gets you comped almost anywhere. |

| Well...I definitely felt old. Got comped on Dan's list and updgraded to vip for $10 which got me 5 free beers. Not that there were many people drinking there. So the sound in the main tent was ok. Production was lame. All the other stages were small. Big space but but maybe 2,000 people. Full on rave crowd. Dan palyed electro house from like 2 or 3 years ago. Its what they wanted tho. AZ needs some help. Party city. Lots of people hungry for some good EDM but have no idea what it is. Fresh feeding ground. Giant's already here this place but needs more. If I can just get motivated to do it, this town could be a good project for an experienced promoter with lots of connections. But do I know anyone like that...hmmmm....oh, just thought of one :D |

Typical rave flyer. Promoters include bios to familiarize the people with the DJ's. Promoters have been putting bio's on flyers ever since I can remember. |
