Trance/house/electronic music in New Orleans?

| Look New Orleans is a great place for music, in fact I love Jazz and blues, but I would like to know if there are any clubs in the town that play trance,house, or any type of electronic music. |

honestly, it sucks overall here. That's why we leave town as often as we can. the clubs here have poor sound and a cluless crowd. People are very nice, just clueless. Most people can't seem to get out of their funky happy break beats or crappy hip hop. it's a real shame.
some of the better shows have been on Mondays or Wednesdays. House of Blues has some of those good shows sometimes and the sound is good. |

In 2005 I met billy bladdy and he was one of the main dance music promoters in louisiana. I haven't kept in touch but if you look up his promoting you might find something you like.

| Yes, between him and Disco Donnie they pretty much own the New Orleans scene, but it leaves a lot to be desired there. For some reason, the crowds just don't support them doing more. |
