Thanks for the info. guys.
Love these kind of parties. Nite time, day time, or anytime parties. :D
We're ready for some of our own also.
DJ-Booth check, Sound System check(QSC-passionate about sound),
Portable Power Generator check(Generac WheelHouse 5550), DJs check(???),
and all we need is a proper venue or park w/(permit?) to get it going.;)

Have fun, maybe some of that pacific northwest weather will swing south.

man this was such a fun day... it was overcast, but the covering was light enough that you could see and feel the sun through the clouds until about 5. thankfully it never really got cold or windy. i was physically exhausted from 1015/kontrol, so i spent a good part of that afternoon sitting and laying on the grass watching all the hilarious dogs run around with birthday hats on their heads and chicken breasts in their mouths. the music was just outstanding. the dirtybird guys started off with dubstep for the first half hour and then went into their full-on techno swing the rest of the day. saw a bunch of industry people out, but not many tas. shame. can't wait for the next one!
ps: cvs played this sick edit of 'there's a party in my tummy' that had the crowd dying, i hope he releases it...
:haha:

I don't know if anybody has the same problem with the Golden Gate Park as I do. Every time I go there, especially on hot and sunny days, I get a runny nose the next day. Maybe it is the massive amount of the pollen and dust.

I hadn't been to one of these before but I had a great time and will definitely be back. The music was sweet and there was a really awesome vibe. I'm really glad I live near a city where stuff like this goes down on a regular basis.

just wait for the september/october bbqs, the sun will be out, the crowd will be treeline to treeline, there will be twice as many park people 'stumbling' upon this rager. it will be outstanding. someone made a short from last sunday...
also talking to michael anthony at 1015 saturday night, he informed me supperclub is having another 'grass' party, which is essentially the same thing, but with supperclub mattresses on the field and house music.
good times ahead
