| a lot of times though i pretty much want that dj to play their productions especially if it's a producer i like. obviously with 2+ hours to work with they should throw some surprises but i do want to hear their productions |

dont get me wrong i do love to hear a DJ/artist play their own but when they get overboard say..i dont know...100% of their set is their own??? ahhhh not good not good but thats just me. it ruins the scene. |

read the thread, it says who id like to see LIKE NOW! nothing about who i havent seen because ive seen calderone the last 3x before his last appearance which was at the firecracker party which i missed out...and that time before the firecracker party was about month and half or two ago, which he played soft and didnt enjoy much
soooooo with all that said, ive been itching to see him...LIKE NOW!
unfortunately, ill be missing him again this weekend :mad: |

on the whole subject of dj's playing their productions... yeah I want to hear them play their ... but not for the entire freaking set.
I also don't like dj's who play their label only. Yes I like their label if I am going to see them - but please - expand your horizons! |

a friend of mine just came back from Europe and saw some DJ in paris that sang and played saxophone while spinning. I'd like to see that. Being that I play 3 horns, I'm a huge fan of and really respect innovative and quality live music. I think his name was Michael Feiner.
