Awhile back I remembered Peter Jackson getting the rights to the Halo movie and began working on it for about 6 months until the producers started to demand more out of it, tempers flared and just found out the movie is scrapped. So he decided to come up with the idea of District 9.
Looks good, very excited to see it!

he didn't come up with it...he took it from a short film by Neill Blomkamp (but yea i guess he came up with the idea of making a full length feature of it)
