3D World - How do you feel the current climate of progressive us progressing? Do you feel there is too much pigeonholding of music or do you think there's not enough???
Mark Dynamix - " Of course there's far too much pigeonholding of music - some people think everything has to fit neatly in a little box labelled "house" or "progressive" or "trance". If it doesnt fit, then it can't be played out. It doesn't work like that... the word progressive seems to have unfortunately been forced upn plod-plod down-tempo house, when really progressive covers a far greater spectrum that just that. Progressive means any style which is original, new, forward thinking, different from the rest etc... Maybe if certain stubborn people realised this they'd attend 'progressive' events and they'd be busy again."
This has fascinated me greatly and lead me to belive in one thing, I too was ignorant of the facts, but not as blatantly as others, I am now seeing new life and light into progressive music, although my preferred style is trance, ive always been tempted to spin Progressive-Trance since of the feedback I get.
What are your thoughts??? |

| man i play progressive also and trance, just listen to music and whatever makes that bell in your ear ring then get it.who cares what people say if u play good music and if u play it right they will like it and u will have a good time |
