| the studio i go to when i'm playing in my rock band has these in there main studio where they do all the final mixing and mastering and i must admit they do sound very nice. |

| i havent listened to tannoy monitors but i know their hifi speakers very well. while they are really nice to listen to music on their not very honest and they hide faults in the recordings. this is mostly beacuse of a warm sounding, smiling frequency response with phatt bass and awesome treble and therefore somewhat low midrange. i doubt the monitors are that way though. |

Yes you can, stop f'ing about and get some Opals! :toothless
You'll only regret it in two years when your all settled down. Then you'll start pining for them, cutting out pictures from Future Music or whoring them off a gearslutz 'post a pic of your studio' thread and putting them in a scrapbook which you keep under your bed, blatent shizzle |
