No its just a general term, some say "gear" meaning keyboard/synth/rack devices it can relate to anything. I havent watched the video properly and didnt see that part but thats my guess. |

| It's kinda refreshing to see a big-name producer with Behringer gear in his rack. I saw a Virtualizer Pro (very nice FX unit for dirt cheap) in his first synth rack and what looks like an old UltraFex Pro in his second rack. |

I made the same switch 2 years ago after being a Cubase user for 10 years. I have never regretted my decision. |

I just switched to logic 5 days ago.. Not going back to cubase again... just got sick of it after so many years now.. |

No disrespect to Steve, I think he's a great guy and I'm positive these videos will be great in the future, but personally, I think the first two videos have added no production value at all.
The first one was fine, an introduction to his studio etc, that was to be expected, but I was expecting a lot more from the second one.
That aside though, I'm really looking forward to Steve getting into more detail with his production processes :). |
