Boy, this all seems so familiar, like I've read about it before.

For Americans out there the DE might as well be Britain's answer to the New York Post!

That just makes you sound as stupid as any of the "blue" or "red" koolaid drinkers here.

what was the score?

I'm not surprised, eastern europe especially the ex russian nations are a hard place to go and play, kinda like south korea in the world cup of 2002, home advantage counts for a lot. What we need to do is learn from the defeats in the u21 and this and the players go on, become better and push for a good career.

The score was 2-0. I'm quite pleased we got to two finals this summer. Not bad to say English talent is supposedly drying up.

EDIT: By the way Ian, I might join your Fantasy Football league this week. They usually stress me out, though.

Conditions are different from what people are used to. Sometimes it's the weather, other times the culture, others it's just the surfaces aren't quite the same. I don't know what you're getting so wound up about. Different places mean different challenges, Look at La Paz in Bolivia, a very average side are quality at there due to the altitude.

Theres one huge talent right now, played for Arsenal this weekend twice, Jack Wilshere. He's 17 and I've not seen a more talented midfielder since Beckham & Gerrard. In this tournament there was Lansbury, Wellbeck, Delfouneso etc who have all had a taste of playing with Premier League teams.

As for the under 21s, Milner is good, Hart is our future keeper, he has so much confidence in himself and that's a lot of the problem with some players. Walcott & Agbonlahor are hot and cold but need to keep learning, Muamba from us showed to be a good tenacious tackler at defensive midfield (note to megson who signed him then asked him to play an expansive passing game  ) We lacked some at the back, Mancienne may be on chelseas books but he's very very green and I don't think a lot to him thus far.

Of course not. Just reminding you what wouldn't exist without the UK.
