Last Week
BIG THANKS to our supporters that came out and made last week a night to remember. Jamie Kidd was sensational. Louise Nox got everyone bouncing earlier on in the evening. We will no doubt have both DJ's back to do their thing @ Suba. We had a great crowd with lots of smiling faces and great vibe.
Music This Week
This week on the decks we bring you the sounds of W.E.R.K and Kevin Cheung. W.E.R.K have been actively banging tunes all over clubland including Lobby, Century Room, Footwork, Circa etc. They are booked solid throughout the summer and we are happy to have reserved them @ Suba. Kevin Cheung has also been making noise across Toronto @ several huge venues/parties and we are excited to see what he has in store for us. Be ready for some serious house music this Friday guys!
For support during the evening, we have our ever powerful lineup of residents Pauze, Elusive and Mike Montana

Last week Louise rocked! Perfect warm up set. One of the best house sets Ive heard in awhile.
I only stayed for her set - was recovering from strep and was dead by 12. Sad I had to miss Jamies set.
For anyone intersted in going I really enjoyed the venue. The bass was a bit off for the first bit but it seemed to get better. The lighting was a bit annoying - felt a bit too strobey. But music was good, venue was nice (lots of seating, lots of dancing space), everyone was friendly, and vibe was great (although it was still rather empty when I left just after 12).
Im sure Ill return to Suba. Plus it was free :) |

Thanks for the feedback Intangible. It is much appreciated. The lighting situation was not our normal setup you can thank caribana for that. As for the sound we had one of our amps go out on us at the pre party and we quickly had to exchange it. So that explained the the uneven sound at the begining. Once I had a chance fine tune it we were back in business. It was just one of those night but we managed and it turned out to be a great night. I'm total agreement with your review of Louise she was absolutely fabulous and Jamie just put it over the top. Overall it was a good evening. Thanks for coming out. |

I came along with Intangible and agree on all points.
Lousie played a fantastic set. I know this is quite the statement, but Lousie played one of the best sets I've heard since seeing Fanciulli at Produkt Loft back in May. I heard so many tracks I wanted to hear in a club. |

I totally agree with both of you, Louise was on fire and she really put on a show for everyone. She will definitely be making a return appearance with House Your Body very soon. |

Louise did play an incredible set, we were very pleased with her sound. Hope to have her back for shizzy.
