Hey everyone,

Long time since I posted here..
I'm back with a very groovy laidback track for the early hours :)
I would like some advice on the soundquality and how I can put a decent outro on this (yes, outro not included :p)
And, i'm curious to know if it can keep your attention throughout the entire track.

Enough for the talk, here's the file:

Its keeping my attention so far (half way) like the perc's nice and clean. The melody is good to, I like the groove its got. If you opened up one of the break to climax a bit more that would make the track better IMO, but this is an early hours track as you say so ignore me lol.

Good stuff, quality seems ok but im listenin on some small speakers.

Outro - I'd filter out the meoldy and slowly break the beats arrangement down, or keep the melody going till the end, filtered down slightly and last 32 bars have no beats, with the melody playing, maybe a nice pad to end it. Hmm yeah that sounds better i'd go for the latter.

hey man :)

this tune has that real minimal cool factor to it, very groovy early-hours feel just like you were going for. Sounds crisp and clean as :) only thing i'd add to the percussion would be some extra tribalish drums, castanettes or something to really build up a rolling drive.

i agree with the other comment, a little pad would go a long way here, tough to say what kind though as I'm not great with creating this sort of music .. have it playing the same melody as your main lead but slightly out of time, probably something glitchy/distorted and slightly shrill to complement all these clean elements, and you'll probably find it useful in giving the breakdown and outro some texture. nice work :)

Both of you, thanks so much for listening!
The advice is really helpful, I can't thank you guys enough for that I think I can finally finish the outro now :)

Cheers
