What's up y'all? Great times last night in an extremely packed Forum. My left leg was crushed for five minutes while some dude came up in a wheelchair (don't ask).
Anyways, I was up front and took a bunch of vids. Here's a link to one and you should be able to find the others I recorded from this one. Here is Tiesto dropping, "I Will Be Here".

Also, more vids to come. Got up late (hotel didn't give me my wakeup call UGH!) and about to take the two+ hour drive back to Virginia.

I had a much better time than expected. His set was pretty good, and he opened with different songs than he's been opening with in other cities---I liked that. I was in the front row from 9:30-2:30....probably not the best idea since the masses behind me were pushing into me the entire night---my body aches today for sure. If he comes back to Charlotte, I would see him again...but it's gotta be in a bigger place, IMO.
Oh...the line moved VERY fast---SS definetely had their s**t together. KUDOS TO KEVIN ONCE AGAIN. |

Glad you had a great time, Amber. Next time will almost for sure be in a larger venue - last night was originally to be at the Filmore but Blues Traveler snatched the venue before we could.

check out the vids on youtube...the crowd was going nuts, i'd say that means he did a pretty good job! =) |

A Tiesto crowd goes nuts when he blows his nose. That is no way to measure the his set. I'd have to see the TL but i saw the video of him mixing Adagio for Strings into He's a Pirate and it was a patented Tiesto trainwreck. |

he wrecked a few times but the tracklist wasnt so bad. Way better than his crappy set in Ibiza
It was packed in the forum but things ran smoothly, didnt have to wait too long at the bar for a drink. |

| The night ran smoothly. Kevin got that gigantic crowd in with no problems. The set was good and overall i have no complaints. Early on i was getting mad as hell cause if you were up front you were trapped and could not leave anywhere due to the side door next to the booth being closed. Luckily Kevin opened it up which allowed people up front to escape for drinks and bathroom trips. And here in charlotte, we dont do cut line tickets.... bring your asses to the Forum.:D |
