Any TA'ers watching this?
The buzz going into this weekend has definitely been overshadowed by all the Fedor drama going on, but I'm still pumped for the card.
I'm having a tough time picking against the obvious choices though...
I just can't see a scenario where Florian can beat BJ Penn.
I also think Anderson Silva will make somewhat quick work out of Griffin, although God knows I am rooting for a Forrest upset.
Picks?

Kenny over BJ via TKO or submission
Silva over Forrest via KO |

| I'm going to say Kenflo with the decision and Silva with a knockout over Griffin. |

Undecided for me on BJ/Ken
Im a Griffin fan but honestly i think Silva is going to dominate that one. |

| I'm gonna have to give it to B.J. If you look at what he's doing this time around he seems to be quite a bit more serious, not running his mouth as much. And also seems to have cut some weight he doesn't look like a pudgy mess. Kenny is gonna lose via some type of submission in the 2nd or 3rd. My other picks are Forrest with the upset, and Amir by rear naked choke in the 3rd. |

| Kenny Florian and Anderson Silva are my picks to win. Florian looks great recently and Silva is just too damn good. |

| I do think that who ever wins this will go down against Deigo Sanchez though, I think he's a cut above anyone else @ lightweight. And a great deal bigger when walking into the ring. I mean even the fight against Clay, I've never seen anyone inflict damage from the bottom against Clay like that. The only one who even came close was Huerta and even he got his ass kicked the first two rounds. |

| Silva will probably take this one too. Would love to see an upset but he just appears to be on a level much higher then his competitors. |

| if you look at BJ's record, he's 4-4 in his last 8 fights... I think Kenny is going to own him for some reason... |

I think Diego's wrestling is better than Kenny's but on the ground I'd hand it to Kenflo any day of the week. I also think that if they stand up and trade, it could go either way because Diego is good at boxing these days and Kenny is sick with his muay-thai...
Clay was obviously outclassed (and still did great) but when going up against either Penn or Florian it'd be a whole different story |

Unfortunately I won't be able to catch it on Saturday, but Sunday night is UFC 101 night for me (aim'ers please don't spoil the results for me) :)

Dude those 4 loses were to GSP, Matt Hughes, and Machida & they were all him fighting up from 155. I like Florian but come on he is not in the same class as the other guys. There is a little more to it than just 4-4.
I don't see penn losing at 155. People forget how tough and what a great fighter because he his always trying to fight the toughest guy out there. He doesn't even care how big the other guy is. He is a crazy ! |
