First of all - I already downloaded the trial of 2007, removed it, then tried to re download under a different IP and it still recognized my computer (stupid microsoft).
The only thing we have on this computer is Microsoft Office 2003 - which I HAVE the original discs.
Does anyone know how to get powerpoint 2003 off the cd? It downloaded word, excel, and whatever the third one is that no one uses - but not powerpoint. My girlfriend says that I have to pull it off the cd but I don't know how. |

if you run the CD and install as normal.. it should get to a point where it asks you which programs youd like to install.
i think when you go to install, you have to click 'custom install' as opposed to 'typical install' and it should ask you what you want installing |

| Agree with the above. I don't know how the 2003 installation process is, but when you pop the cd in, it should recognize the current installed office components. |

yeah.. instead of clicking next, next, next all the way through the install.. im sure theres a part asking if you want a custom install or typical install.. click custom install and it asks you everything about what you want installing and where etc etc.
i dont use office or anything like that, but ive had to install it for someone before and im sure this is what i had to do |

| Of course now that I actually get help advice I can USE - my bf stuck the disc somewhere last night and I can't find it so I have to wait til he gets home and finds it. |
