First release is a pretty smart looking Mulitband Side chain

Looks like an very capable vst however what can you really tell by looks.

I don’t know how to post pics inside of threads but full details and screen shots can be found here

http://www.vengeance-sound.com/eng/indexFLASH.html

I know it’s not a favrioute with everyone (I quite like it) but a dongle is required so no torrent for this one.

Can’t wait for the next release.

(Also a new sample cd – Electro Essentials Two was recently released so if t’s your thing check it out)

Since when did dongle = no torrent? Dongles are as crackable as anything else.

Also, Why the heck does a sidechain vsti exist? Do people really not know how to set up a side chain in ?

A dongle does not automatically mean it won't be cracked, but it does make cracking more difficult and less likely.

No, they do not.

I'm surprised they teamed up with an un-known company rather than ReFX again. Hopefully they'll come out with some plugins that are more useful than a sidechain ... some sick FX or something would be fun. But I doubt they'll ever release anything unique.

Its as if Vengance reads this very forum, looks at all the "why modern trance blows" threads. And does EXACTLY what people complain about.

This isn't a basic sidechain compressor - it's a multiband sidechain compressor. Yes, that can be done without an all-in-one VST, but I doubt that many people know how to do it and it generally involves multiple EQs/filters, SC compressors, and busses. This VST seems pretty useful.

Manuel Schleiss (the guy behind this) works for both Vengeance and reFX.

Yeah me too

This seems to be on par with RNDigital's D4 compressor. It's cool and can be really useful in some specific situation, but it's just not really appealing for mainstream use unlike its plug-in counterpart, Nexus.
