Weekend Berlin Appreciation Thread

| Just been to Berlin for the first time a few days ago and me and my friends went to Weekend to see Tobi Neumann and Loco Dice play. The Los Angeles TA's will undestandably not find the whole rooftop terrace aspect particularly amazing due to having the Standard Rooftop in their city, but coming from Ireland where we have literally nothing comparable, Weekend was the most amazing clubbing experience I've ever had. Anyone else who has gone to this unbelievable place please show your enthusiasm, I will definitely be back to Berlin for Weekend alone. |

My friend was at weekend this past friday, I heard amazing things.
Our rooftop might be cool but I doubt LA has as good a crowd as Berlin :) |

| hadn't heard of it - looks pretty sweet. is it only in august? i was in berlin a few weeks ago, might have missed it among all the other things going on. |

Weekend is pretty cool, nice view, nice rooftop, but the crowds are really not that good. I mean, they are not bad, but nothing compared to Watergate and Berghain. |

The whole Berlin atmosphere completely trumps anything LA has to offer, unfortunately. Berlin is a fantastic city, I can't wait to go back :D |

i find rooftop parties particularly amazing & to go to one in of all cities Berlin, would just blow me away! Berlin has the best talent there, locally & booking wise imo.
ive heard of a club opening @ noon on a Sunday & cruising all the way thru til midnite, but with kickass talent. that would be a great party |

This is so true, just came back also from 9days Berlin
Loco Dice Vs Tobi Neumann was cool but the real parties were @ Bar25 and Berghain for me!
Bar25 is the craziest place ever and the Berghain queue was about 300meters long when I arrived (luckily had guestlist :)). That should speak for itself I guess :)
If you're going to Berlin I REALLY REALLY recommend going to Bar25 as it's closing at the end of summer. It will be totally worth it!!

This would probably be Bar25 :)
Almost the only place open on sunday and with that in mind they also stay open for 25hours nonstop :D |

Okay, but I dont know if they go on for 25hours like Bar25... And with the same amount of amazing djs :p
I haven't been to a night there, but during the day it was looking great and was perfect to chill out :) |

It really is the best city I've ever been in, without a doubt heading back for a long clubbing weekend again before the year is out. |
