How often do you use soap on your body? (pg. 4)

Wow. How can you possibly feel clean without having used soap?
I mean, if you never used it, I could see how it wouldn't bother you. But using it sometimes and not other times and still feeling just as clean?

the entire outer layer of our skin is made up of dead cells
if they accumulate, bacteria forms on and around them

= gross

use soap man, seriously

In this wonderful consumer-driven world, you have hundreds of soaps to choose from.

Everyone raves about Dove, but I would try Aveeno if you're skin is irritated easily by strong fragrances and typical, plain soaps.

like bar soap?

almost never. For hands I got that foaming with lotion stuff. In the shower - body wash & shampoo w/ conditioner.

I don't think I've used a bar of soap since Russia.

Use body wash, not a bar of soap. You won't get itchy and you won't smell like a giant fishy vagina either.

Which should be under the "all the time" category.

Under that logic, shouldn't that mean that you should be like a normal human being and ing wash your body?

Yeah, clearly

Listen, like I said, no one has ever complained of any smell. What can I say? I am not a smelly person. Yea I am not that active, it all depends on how sweaty I get. I don't sweat every single day to the point where I need to wash down with soap.

When I was riding my bike every day, yea I used soap every day. Otherwise I am not going to abuse my skin like that. During snowboard season, yea I use soap when I get back. Its just that I am not that active otherwise and every soap I have ever tried (yes wotyzoid, even Dove) leaves my skin in some state that I am not happy with.

Maybe if I lived someplace where it was warmer, with more humidity, I don't know. Most of the time its cool and fairly dry here, or its cold and raining.

Also I have always had really good skin on my face, never really used soap there either. I get maybe one pimple every 6 months and it goes away quickly.

On top of all this I never use cologne or anything else to really mask any smells besides whatever the original Speedstick smell is. No one has ever complained about it, even asking others if I do smell (in regards to topics like these).

Yes. My skin is naturally dry anyways. Using soap just makes it worse.

I tend to use lots of moisturizing lotion on my face and arms to make it not feel as dry.

Ania, what can I say, I use soap maybe once a week, and usually its when I take a shorter shower. Otherwise I just spin in circles under steaming hot water for 15 minutes contemplating things. I do my best thinking in the shower.

Actually I might go shower with soap now, I got home from our beach cabin and for some reason I am really itchy now. There is something in my room... which I odd cause I vacuumed last week and the door was shut the whole time.

In theory, every day. In practice, probably more like five times a week. Either way, it's probably more than necessary.

On gym days or days when I'm exceptionally sweaty, otherwise I don't.
