Hmm. Not familiar with his work. Just checked out his myspace and seems like a good compliment to Aoki.

i don't know, i mean he's definitely a showman. but of all the videos i've seen of him, and hearing his sets, he seems kind of like a spaz.

but i'm glad to hear that it was a great time out... that echoes what some of the charlotte folks said about his stop there.

Chris, the main issue that had some folks panties in a twist was that Aoki came on after 1, meaning that we put up with the opener for WAY too long. I didn't mind him so much until I realized I was going to have to endure it another hour. There wasn't really any flow to the set, and he played a lot of insanely mixed hip hop tracks. It was kinda like those DJ's that mix Lil Jon and Madonna, we were just like "WTF is this?" I went up to the top to get phone service about 12:30 and talked with a few other confused souls asking the same thing: "Is this what Aoki will sound like? And when the Hell is he showing up?"

And everyone in there was a spaz, hence my joke about needing a helmet next time around :)

Yeah he went to eat in buckhead last night and they headed into the city at 11:45 to get to the club and got caught in that horrific traffic and it took him an hour and a half to get to the mark from buckhead

He's become such a favorite here in Charlotte that he's been booked three times within one year and they were all packed. Dude is crazy spraying champagne on people and stage diving . We had a in blast every time he comes. Here's a video comp on Aoki at the forum.

Hello once again el douchebag de california. Yes Aoki is a good dj. Seeing steve is going out to have a good time...plain and simple. It's not about hearing the best set and see a respected producer. His parties are fun. he throws the biggest weekly in LA and sells out that place weekly. There are plenty of other shows i attend to hear better sets.

DJ Sammy? REALLY? I don't think we have appropriate comparisons here...
