Fresh from a string of well-received singles for Fling, Bigger Deer, Acitone and Hedgehog, Gary Dickenson and Stephen Garrett aka Miniminds are on serious form right now cranking up the dancefloor pressure with their big-room techno.
Verzerrungcode (“warped code” in German) comes in two versions. 1.0 uses a rolling, percussive groove to power along undulating sirens that evolve forever upwards towards a monster break where warped harmonics kick it full force.
2.0 develops the original idea; swapping up the power-groove for a jacking rhythm, shorter break and dropping in a chopped up melody after the drop. The overall effect is a slower-burning track brimming with peak-time tensions.
