It was worked into the show and is what they stand for. They limited it and worked it in better (IMO) than the last tour.

I thought it was a perfect mix of greatest hits and really enjoyed that they played all of the new songs at the beginning.

I was impressed with last nights show.

Traffic on the other hand sucked balls... it took us 4 hours to get there from Kitchener and 2 hours to get home.

I must say though...I wanted Bono and Edge to run around the oval aisle a lot more..haha

And it would've been super if they played Hold me, kill me, kiss me, kill me and/or discotheque (but those weren't as big as the other classics i guess)

was a great performance but wayyyy too much political drama...i dont mind the whole charity aspect but the politics....meh...

(yes yes i know most of their tracks too are political but the concert...cmon)

U2, a bunch of hypocrites....charity, politics, GREEN...my touchie...they have two of those stages in North America...and it takes 189 trucks to move EACH of them from city to city...wonder what that carbon foot print will look like at the end of the tour.

Shame on them for not walking the walk...(do they REALLY need a stage like that?) and shame on all of you who supported them!

We are leaving today at 1:30pm to avoid all traffic and just taking the subway from Mark's place. I hope that will help a lot.

I am so stoked for tonight :happy2:

Wow! I was lucky enough to go to both shows, and holy were they incredible! I must say that the crowd vibe was better last night over wed nights show, but nevertheless U2 ing delivered!
I found that the tshirts were cheaper than their vertigo tour which was a bonus, but then again, they didn't sell out a stadium tour filled with 70,000 ppl under one roof per night last tour.
Highlights for me was hearing "ultraviolet" both nights, and hearing mysterious ways last night :D
It would have been cool if they changed up the setlist a bit more for the 2 shows. I had GAs for both nights and to be honest, I have no idea how I'm walking today. My calves and back are shot... Reminds me of a night out at Guv lol.
The only complain I have about the GAs were that most ppl were just standing around... There wasn't too much hype down there... I guess the crowds getting as old as the band :p

Wed sept 16 show = 9/10
Thurs sept 17 show = 11/10

:happy2:

so happy I caught the better of the 2 shows :tongue2

The highlight for me was when they played "Ill go crazy if I dont go crazy tonight"...loved the version they performed.

I was shocked to see people giving me looks when I was jumpin' around in the GA area....you're supposed to be dancing and going crazy to the music there...

anyways, I cant say I'm the biggest U2 fan, but overall this was the best concert/spectacle I've ever been to!
Special K
In terms of the whole production (music, setup, performance) I'd have to say it was probably the best concert / event I have ever been too. Glad we went last night too, got to hear New Years Day and Mysterious ways which they didn't play the night before. The only thing that could have made the night better for me was if they had played a few more of my all-time favs from Achtung Baby but regardless of that it was still pretty ing amazing.

:D
