This is superb - great sound but it does sound very familiar :conf:

Thanks. Dunno about it sounding familiar other than neo-classical can sound a bit samey I suppose.

I'm only 10 minutes in, and I have already made a permanent indentation in my chin from rubbing it so hard. It's very lovely music, super ambient. I feel like an hour of this music will probably reduce me to a puddle below my desk. I'm listening to this while working, it's some good stuff! Nice to keep in the background. My gf said she loves it, that it's very soothing and relaxing.

Not really sure if I like the constant buzzing almost feedback sound at 22 minutes.

Ahhh perfect, some waves and strings at 38 minutes, I love this ... makes me feel like I'm on the beach.

Holy crap, it took the entire set (56 minutes) for beats to start. Nice way to end the set.

Overall, I thought it was really nice, but sometimes the buzziness/feedback/distortion kinda got on my nerves. Still thought it was thoroughly good enough for a solid hour of scratching my chin and raising my eyebrow to look insightful.

Listened twice this weekend, on the way to and from the beach. Not much to say about the mixing/flow of it, but I actually really enjoyed this. Went along perfect with my fantasy/dragons novel :o

Any suggestions on finding more music similar to this? Aside from your other mix, whore.

Something about you reading a book about dragons is mildly perturbing/

A combo of discogs and last.fm. And soulseek.

Loving this stuff for reading, doesn't distract too much. Cheers.

This was sick, nice one.

This is very nice. Been listening to it a lot during the late hours and before bed, so I'm not actually sure if I've listened to all of it because of the soothing sounds putting me to sleep :p But what I have heard is excellent. I can see this helping me get through papers and other homework when school starts in a couple weeks.

BTW you should do another downtempo mix plzzz.

Thanks for checking it out. I know it can be a bit hard to listen to the set attentively all the way through since it's really easy to let it fade into the background.

As for a downtempo mix. I've been making a few attempts here and there but they usually sound so I give up. And right now I'm at a lull until I move my dj setup over to the new house and get the basement setup. le sigh :(

Oh, damn. A new home setup is always refreshing though. Perhaps it will make the creative juices flow.

Enjoyable mix, good to study to.

Glad you liked it. I'll have to make another one sometime in the near future :)
