Have any of you been to After Hour Power every 2 weeks at the Palace? They've got some good music, but $35 per tickets???
And then theres the people...who stuck a rod up their ass??
Like I said, Steve dip Castro flys in great Djs, but the crowd is so Hollywoodish and LAish. Sadly, the crowd does not represent the music well.
The place is filed with shirtless guys thinking they are the and cheap sluts. They all think they are the rulers of the earth.

Honestly, Spundae is a much better place and represents the music well!

After Hours Power is the only thing decent at The Palace. Sometimes the Palace feels like high school, all these idiots roaming around. Guys in tank tops trying to be cool but getting their butts kicked in the parking lo.t  It could be better, but I don't think it ever will.

if AHP is the only decent thing about the palace that doesnt say much for the palace.. AHP sucks and is way overpriced.... i guess its alright if u go with a bunch of your friends and just go to hear the music and dont pay much attention to whats goin on around u. ive had fun there thanks to mauro picotto, my friends, and vip (which gets u away from most of the crowd). and damn there are some of the most ugliest people ive ever seen in my life there, men and women. bleh

I guess I should have said it in my first post, The Palace sucks! :stongue:
Lame cover charge, lame crowd, one of the bouncers is an idiot. Midget men in wife beater tank tops thinking they are cool, bimbo girls. But hey, who doesn't like bimbo girls!
What other clubs you like? You been to Giant, Skybar, Key Club, Club Jerk, Club Naked???

Yes ive been to AHP many times....saw Daniel Soto , Johan Gielen, and Mario Piu there. The crowd is not for the music. Check out Chemistry which is also at the Palace...its new so the place doesnt get packed yet, but when it flys in a few months, it should be one of LA's hot clubs to party. Cover is $25, but right now were doin guest list promotions....so pm me if you wanna check it out and get on guest list

I got invited to AHP again and went back hoping things might have changed....NOT! Like I said, the music and talent do not represent the music at all. It gets lame watching guys, supposedly enjoying trance and techno, while staring each other down or drooling over women whose idea of sophistication centers around how high their skirts can go....
If you go to the aftherhourpower website they call their event an "upscale" clubbing experience...what a joke. The usual "einsteins" that frequent that horrid party are about as upscale as the Ford Pinto...
Sadly, Steve Retardo wants to bring the AHP "experience" to other cities...I pray for you guys out there....
