I haven't listened to west coast hip hop since Snoop Dogg stopped putting out that good quality . I need some of that banging energetic hip hop that the west coast is known for.

I thought this game track was real good. Some like this. If I was registered on some hip hop forum I wouldn't bother making this thread. Common don't let me down West coasters, especially the ones from Cali. I know most of you listen to hip hop out there. I just need some bangin tracks for those long drives, summer is almost over. Good looking out.

i listen to underground hip hop and i'll be honest, its all gotten ed up. its all become hip POP. All of it is made for the bull- clubs. Last good hip hop album i listened to was Zion I "the take over".

Continue listenin' to DPG with Kurupt, Daz, Nate etc. In my opinion, todays rap is just plain out horrible. I stick with the older rap: Tribe, DPG, GangStarr, The Roots etc
I like rap, its just that the sound has gotten horrid, my opinion

Don't listen to anything that was made after 2001 is a good rule of thumb to go by, with a few exceptions. There is plenty of older stuff to listen to last you years of listening enjoyment.
