You are having an allergic reaction, but may be it's something you wouldnt normally think about like a product you use on your skin or something. Also the rash sounds like eczema.

i got a rash on my right shoulder after i moved to NY a few weeks ago. it hasn't gone away yet... and it doesn't itch or hurt. it's just a bunch of little bumps.
sounds like an allergic reaction or maybe stress related? our bodies do weird things when we go through major life changing events. |

| It certainly does sound like an allergic reaction, and it's absolutely incredulous that a doctor would tell you it isn't without running any sort of diagnostic tests. I'm surprised you wouldn't have questioned him about that. |
