Silent movie soundtracks suck, what I do

If I'm in a really calm mood, just floating, I enjoy watching old movies, like Nosferatu. The kind of movies which are so old they're public domain and you can watch them on youtube. Think its cool to see a movie from almost 100 years ago. The only problem I have with them is they all have the same classical music, can't blame them they didn't have the kind of music we have today. But I think something that REALLY sets the mood is if you mute the music in the silent film, and put on Selected Ambient Works Volume II by Aphex twin. It fits beautifully. Creates such a mood. Try it if you have nothing else to do, sit back and relax.

Heres Nosferatu, and if you don't have that Aphex twin album, do yourself a favor and get it!

The Criterion DVD of Dreyer's The Passion of Joan of Arc features Einhorn's absolutely awesome Voices of Light Soundtrack. Go with that.
