pretty damn excited for this card!
i want nogueira to win his fight, but i like couture too. i do like minotauro more, and would LOVE to see him submit couture.
i got alves by bumrush. jardine seems to never had an answer for the bum rush.
rosholt is a good wrestler, from what i read; he could give leben problems. i'll take leben in this one though.
i am REALLY looking forward to this fight. i dunno that marquardt will go for demian's masterful tricks, but these are incredible:
please note the wrist control on maia's right side, the bait with the "guard pass" (that herman falls for), the hip-out on the left side, and the wrist control keeping the arm at bay to allow the other arm to do the work in the choke. un-damn-believable.
seen it a million times, i know... but this is absolutely a work of art. if you can't love jiu jitsu after watching maia fight, then i don't know what to tell you. is so fluid. i want to see maia win this one via choke. a joint lock would be nice, but his chokes are so damn next level.
don't much care about vera versus polish dude, to be honest. although... i would like to see the polish dude get dismantled by little nog. boxed the up, then when it hits the ground, he goes for that kimura. |

I think Couture will get 'caught' by a punch and go down. It tends to happen as fighters get older, and his 'retirement' certainly hasn't helped his cause.
If that doesn't happen, then he should win in a decision. |

not positive but either this ufc or the next one, they are broadcasting the undercard or an hour of it on ufc.com for free. |
