First off I'm not a psy fan anymore but I did love AP back in the day and Sundive sounds like it could easily be one of their tracks! Very polished sounding. That main melody is simple but effective and the synth assigned to it is really nice. The acid lines are pretty sick, sound just as they should for psy.
My only criticism is it sounds a little fast to my ear, and the speed brings a bit of muddiness but that could be just that my ear is tuned to a different kind of trance. For the record though I think if you varied the melody more and added in some more chord changes it would sound great as a slightly slower uplifting trance number! :P
This is really nice work, all your effort has paid off! |

i like melody and the atmospheric parts. its sounds more like game music from deus ex. not very psy ( not complaining )except for the bpm which is fast. the bassline key change is cool and gives rhythmic effect.
still there are things to improve
-bring the bassline forward in the mix. its getting lost in the mix. i am not talking abut the low bassline. you should have a mid bassline too.
-add some variations to the melody
-the kick is too weak. better kick is needed
-a shorter version would be better or fill up the current one with more variation
keep creating! |
