Here we go yeah I really enjoy this tune except for the low bass was too quiet and i think the kick needs a lil boost in the 3khz range to give it some presence.
But other than that i love the warmth of this track its very nice, lots of feel. |
thanks man, since posting this link I've worked a lot on the low end and its starting to sound a lot more present. For a while I was real scared of cranking the bass since as I'd heard so many other amateur producers falling into the trap of going too far with it so I was definitely undercompensating. Really grateful for the advice I got here, gave me that push I needed to overcome my paranoia, haha!
I'll upload and post the fresh mix of this as soon as its ready, would love if you would take a listen and see if its sounding more balanced! |

But I do see this track sort of heading in the direction of alot of andy blueman's tracks but warmer.
And yes when you post a more updated version let me know and i will listen. |

I was kinda getting into this one.
Even though it was really high-ended, i liked melodies and it was a really happy song.
It's sounded quite 'Whirloop'ish but i think it's only because of the 'shakes' that are also on 'Vandringsleden'.
Good . |

I love it,
Don't worry about criticism, we all are here to help.
It is all about expression, what is in your heart.
Systole (Re-Edit) sound grate for me.
Keep it up. |

Well apologies for not responding to some of you guys, there seemed to be a general consensus emerging that the low end needed serious work so I was focusing on getting that done. Thanks to all for listening though, MUCHLY appreciated!
So I've made some changes and beefed up the low-end considerably, although I suspect its still far from perfect, the dynamics on the waveform don't look any better than before, sigh. I should probably shift my focus to some other tracks I've got in the pipeline and leave this one be for a while as I think I may go off the deep end if I hear this even ONE more time, haha. Anyway, let me know how you think its sounding if you can be assed. Cheers :) |

Ha, yeah that bit was giving me a fair bit of grief, Reason makes it really hard to make it sound just perfect. I've given up and simplified it... I am defeated -_-

Many thanks, I agree about the expression thing, it's the only reason I make music. It's a bonus if your expression doesn't render listeners with imploded eardrums though.. haha. |
