Bombaman was entirely forgettable. zero flow and not my taste at all. I don't even know wtf I would call half of that.
Plump DJs played a really good set though. nothing *mind-blowing*, but entirely satisfying and refreshing.
The night ended a bit too early (does TIL always close 3-ish?) but I was very happy to hear Rocket Soul, Beat Myself Up & System Addict, along with a few others whose names escape me at the moment. could have done with another hour, but I'm certainly not complaining.
fail of the night was some coked up gino doing blow in a stall with his friends and asking me "where the are you going?" as I went to walk in after the three of them came out. "uhhh, inside to go to the bathroom maybe?". silly me...what was I thinking? overall a good crowd though. I think that was only my 2nd time there, but I have to admit that I really like TIL as a venue and it seems particularly suitable for house/electro/breaks.
good to see you again Aaron and nice to meet Miki (sp?) after all this time. |

I don't think so...IIRC, Rocket Soul was really the only big 'progressive breaks' (?) track they played. most of the set was what I can only describe as 'chunky electro/breaks' with a sprinkling of their older stuff.

I'm tempted to check out Fort Knox Five at Skyy Lounge (Circa) this Saturday. Bass Kleph is at FW the night before too. hmmmmm... |
