I thinks its ok, little cheese though ... the synths and vocals killed it. (I haven't heard the orginal ver of this track)
I like it better then the original but I could see how hardcore DNB people wouldn't like it.

ty-cheese rock is an understatement.

What the hell were they thinking?! Shame on them.

I blame Shaya for this.

What do people think of this remix of a house track? Even if you dont like dnb, give it a listen!

try the Hospital Records podcast its updated regularly, theres a little talking from Tony Coleman the label runner giving info on the tunes he plays but its still my favorite. Its more dnb influenced sound with a little dancefloor business mixed in.

Well Pendulum are traitors and switched from dnb to ty rock, so I can understand why they hate on them.
They actually started off making ty rock then switched to DnB now they make ty Dnb/rock. I actually like 9000 miles from the In Silico album, oh and granite is not terrible either.

Ive been digging dubstep for about a year and a half now, some tunes are way too wonky tbh but i cant get enough lfo(womwomwomwomp) and the overall filthyness off the sound. I like the deeper stuff more than i like the off your face stuff though, Its my bass fix man @_@ :).
btw thanks for bringin the Hypercaine track to my attention Ravist, i cant get enough of that song!

I respect your opinion entirely and know a lot about Hospital Records, I`ve seen a number of Hospital dj`s in Toronto spin. There`s even some russians creating some of their own drum n bass and the genre is becoming more diverse with Holland djs, Austrian, Czech and even Bulgarian djs. There is so much out there with drum n bass/jungle and dubstep having a similar relationship with how techno/minimal is shared with house music, in the next 5 years there is going to be more subgenres and new genres being made. It's going to be so interesting to see it unfold.

i think the nero mix is better..but for some odd reason i've been very biased towards nero off late...lol

Totally forgot, Pendulum was a rock band before they produced dnb, but never heard any of their materials from the era.
I've always found them cheese with their glaxay themes, you can check my posts from two years ago. *cough cough Slam*
But this new direction is is off the scale.

It's messed up that they switched back to rock though after making some awesome dnb anthems. Clearly dnb was their strong spot, production-wise. I gave their newest album a chance when it first came out, but I honestly can say that I hated it. Yeah a few tracks had a dnb feel to them, but when it comes down to it, the album was pure crap.
Endgame
I'm not a big DnB fan, and I really like this remix. I guess because most true Drum and Bass lovers think it's cheezy :p
Do prefer the Rob Swire housey version...I don't think it's released? I can't find it for purchase on the usual download spots. (Although, the vocals make it a little fluffier than the original, I think they work well.)
Orko
Yeah not bad.
But I would only listen to the track a few times, not somethign I could keep in regular rotation.
