I would say more of the branding director but since this is a small pop up company, it's more about a collective effort. The styles and designs are war-roomed so I think I'm going to try and keep myself out of that. I know creative brainstorms can be taxing and often change the dynamic so my main focus is to let the creative guys do what they do, and as an analyst, provide them with market research and branding marketshare to a target audience that we feel is open to sporting NY branded apparel.
The retailers list is located at the bottom of the post, featured in cities world wide from Paris, to Tokyo, to Bristol, and domestically.
The photoblogs will be the next step as the prints will probably end up going on canvas or framed for business to business sales. This means discounted city art prints posted up within retail businesses for their interior design.
The womens line is due out soon and we are venturing into couture and functional athletic designs.
Of course we don't want to mention it, but since this community is a bit disconnected from some of our competition, the direction I'm posting here is purely conceptual. |
