Canadian Deep House Producers? Ambient/chillout?

Hey everyone,
So yeah I do a little show at UTM but they've changed up the rules and 35% of what I play now has to be Canadian content. I'm well aware of Carlo Lio, Junkies, Nathan Barato. So i'm pretty much set for any techno/tech housey mixes. But I would also like to know about any deep house producers? I only know of Scope (ric mcclenand, wrong spelling I know) but just wondering who else it out there?
I also want to know if there's any Canadian ambient producers as well and if there are more Cdn tech house producers. |

Thanks everyone. At first the cancon rules the school is enacting irritated me. I'm now forced to play Canadian stuff that may or may not be good. Before I had Cdn stuff anyway but that's cuz it was actually good. I've been on Beatport recently and yeah some of this stuff isn't bad at all...I like Carlo Lio and Nathan Barato's work a lot. Purple Soul seems like a really nice track and there's ppl like El Kay Dee and Nick Cenik and others right on this site that have stuff too.
So yeah maybe in the future I'll have some producers come down and we can do interviews. It is good to support local artists and to do whatever is necessary so we can finally get our physical broadcast to cover all of mississauga and some of gta. |
