The Best Kompakt Pop Ambient Volume?

I'm really loving 2009 and I decided to check out 2008 but it sounds like white noise for 80 minutes. I think sometimes that's the problem with ambient music. The strings, trumpets and guitars really saved it for me for 2009.

Anyways, what's the best in the series? I think it spans from 2001-2009, so far.

I've listened to parts of them on Beatport but they all sound a little too airy and dull. I'm finding 2009 to be the best release in the series.

Kompakt released some really good ambient albums such as Ulf Lohmann - Because Before and Markus Guentner - In Moll which I really love, but I've never been able to get into that Pop Ambient series. I've tried couple of them (2007 was probably the most interesting edition (it features rare Gas track), but even that one wasn't that good), but they never clicked with me.
Paradox Lost
I personally prefer 2007 among the ones I've heard.

Such a relentless abundance of class.

Really though, there's outstanding content to be found on virtually all of them, and I'm especially in love with Burger & Voigt's "Frieden" on the 2009 edition (though I wish the rest of the album were as good):

Okie Dokie It's The Orb On Kompakt has some nice tunes on it, and it's along the lines of Kompakt-style ambient/dub.

I love The Orb's and Thomas Fehlmann's releases on Kompakt.
