I like swiss cheese!
ok now the melody ant that bad but it just repeats itself way to much without leting up!.
I would start off with a different melody but still have some elements of the main part.
o and the arrangement needs a work over it needs a sandwich to go with the cheeese.
dont know what type of feed back u need but hope that helps :eyespop: |

Not sure I agree with Peter Campbell.
I would however be willing to place money on the fact that you are using one of the first patches on the Pro-53 he he.
In terms of repetition, yes you do repeat it a lot but hey so do Daft Punk and this track has plenty of their influence in it.
As you have already gone down that avenue, you might as well stick in a robotic voice sample somewhere to break up the repetition a little but it does work without it.
The over all mix is a little too hot and you might be loosing some of the dynamics through over compression or a limiter that is driving just a bit too hard.
You may want to EQ the pads a little differently just to give the lead a bit more room to breathe as it's a bit full on with high freqs. Perhaps roll off the highest frequencies just to place the pads a bit more in the background.
Perhpas also have a short stop in the middle and then bring everything back in just to break it up a little. Ah, scratch that, you did he he.
Good song though.
thanks for sharing.
Cheers

| wicked. i love criticism for suuure. Yea i didnt do a whole lot of processing work to this track. the master bus only has an eq on it and the rest of the track has only a few comps and lims. I Just let it kinda drive all maxed out. I just initially liked the thick kinda pump it had lol. you were right about the ni-53 too, spot on lol. Anyways i figured i'd throw the cheese mix up on the net. thanks for the feedbacks. |
