OK Bedroom Session DJs I need to ask you guys a question before I ask to get the other thread closed... OK?
For the love of god and all that is neato torpedo can you guys remember to fill in at least the ARTIST name when you stream?
I am implementing automatic stream ripping and besides dates to signify who is playing I would like the artist name in there too.
Basically it looks like this how it will save them to the server, but first the key:
%DATE% = 2009-08-26 1835 or something along that format, with year-month-day
%TIME% = hour and minute in 24 hour time format so 1245 would be 12:45PM
%STREAM_TITLE% = The stream title, like bas just got done and it was and it was something like "Deep Cuts"
%ARTIST% = The artist name, you can over ride this in pretty much any shoutcast client. It would be your artist name.
%TITLE% = This is the title of the song, I will probably ignore this! :D
OK So it would look like this...
%STREAM_TITLE%/%DATE%/%TIME% %ARTIST% - %STREAM_TITLE%.mp3
So for bas's just played set it would be:
Deep Cuts/2009-08-26/1245 Bas - Deep Cuts.mp3
Does this look acceptable? Any suggestions? |
