| all i gotta say is why in the world would you guys book guy j to come on at 430am-7? IM really ing annoyed i came to see him and didnt find out till 3am. Of course Reza gets peak time slot from 1145-145. Very disappointed avalon. Needless to say I missed Guy J for the second time, although Felix was good for the little I saw. /rant |

Shame on Avaland and who ever the genius was behind last night's lineup.
Opening DJ, not sure who he was but he was fantastic. Like i was telling my buddy, unfortunately the opening act gets the least credit when they are often as good - if not better than the main dj.
Reza: Played his usual crap. Why do they bring him back to Avelon week after week? 2 hours of garbage. Get off the stage you fat boy
Felix the FatCat: OMG! what a up this douche was. Really ugly sounding bad tracks, ty mixing skills -- anytime he couldn't mix 2 tracks, he'd just kill one channel and up the other - or, simply just stop the track, and start a new song on the other deck. Just horrible dj. Oh, and the moment a dj picks up the mic and starts to yap over a track or sing along with it, all respect for that dj goes down the toilet. Well with Felix, that respect went down 5 min into his set :D :D
Guy J: Just amazing. I don't have to tell you. What sucked and felt really bad for him was by the time he came on at 4 am, half the dance floor was empty, people were tired, and to my shock, people had made a big ring in the back of the dance floor for couple of asian guys who were, get this, BREAKDANCING !!! OMG! how embarrassing was that! I wonder what was going through Guy J's mind? " ... This is how LA people party??"
Overall, it was very disappointing and I finally decided my Avalon days are coming to end :( |

| I showed up at 3; seems I made the right decision. I think Avalon has realized it gathers all the afterhour crowd from the other clubs and times the talent approprietly. |
