After celebrating its second anniversary earlier this year at Carnival in Brazil, and hosting Erick Morillo alongside Life Is A Loop at Avalon in May, Made In Brazil will be hitting the road in late August for an eagerly anticipated summer tour. Stopping in San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles, Made In Brazil will give US club-goers an unforgettable taste of the Brazilian dance music experience.
Joining Made In Brazil on the road will be three of the country's top DJs (only two of them in SD and SF) - Branko, Rodrigo Ayala and Paulinho Boghosian. Forget soccer shirts and samba lines, these DJs present the authentic Brazilian club experience, combining cutting edge house and techno lifted straight from Brazil's heady dancefloors. Signature production in each city will combine draped fabrics, Brazilian themed visuals and modernistic aesthetics with vibrant Brazilian design to transform each venue into a Brazilian club for one night only.
Since its inception in 2007 Made In Brazil has sought to celebrate Brazil's contribution to electronic music with DJ-centric performances that give US clubbers the chance to break away from the predictable. Demonstrating that commitment Made In Brazil has presented the likes of Gui Boratto, Mary Zander, Fabricio Pecanha, Joao Lee, DJ Leozinho and Life Is A Loop, in twelve installments to over 20,000 people, emerging as the premier showcase for Brazilian DJs and electronic music in the US.

Branko first started DJing in 1997 when he landed a residency at the "Fim de Seculo" club in Porto Alegre. A stint in Canada helped him refine his music sensibilities, and upon returning to Brazil he dedicated himself to his DJing career. Soon after his return he had the privilege of DJing alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, 16 Bit Lolitas, New Order (DJ set), Paolo Mojo, Deep Dish, Oscar G, Seb Fontaine, Steve Lawler and more. In 2008 he launched his own label "Super Fly Audio Co" from his home-town of Porto Alegre, focused on releasing the groove heavy house productions that embody his DJing style.
Voted Brazil's top DJ for consecutive years in 2006 and 2007 by Brazil's dance industry's mag, Cool, and with a monthly residency at two of Brazil's most revered clubs, Warung and D-Edge, Paulinho is one of the country's best loved house talents. His talents have seen him play across the world with gigs at The End and Circo Loco, while joining stars like Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Danny Howells, Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, and Layo & Bushwacka when back in Brazil. He has spent the last six months in the studio honing his production skills alongside Grammy nominated producer Tchorta Boratto. The forthcoming album captures Boghosian's love for house, encompassing influences ranging from deep, minimal and tech house through to techno.
Rodrigo Ayala has been DJing for over 15 years holding residencies in some of Brazil's top nightclubs, including Rio Grande do Sul's Spin, Porto Alegre's Republica de Madras, Jimbaram and Cozumel. One of Southern Brazil's true dance music stars Ayala received the prestigious DJ Sound award in 2008, one of Brazil's top dance music honors and has DJd alongside such diverse talents as David Guetta, John Acquaviva, Steve Lawler, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Marco Carola, Paco Osuma, Tiesto and Richie Hawtin.
