RIP.
I had the most random encounter with him a few weeks back when I dropped off my GF at her boss's house (V. Wealthy area of LA) and had to turn my car around. I found I'd pulled in to DJ AM's drive and we briefly talked.
Really nice guy but he looked super stressed and tired.
The USA needs to get a handle on prescription drugs - it is out of control here and so many people get hooked following an accident (I know three people it happened to and one died from it). |

It was long thought crack was far worse for the longest time, but in the end that's largely disputed these days by doctors. You always see this bought up int he argument over why are laws so muc harsher on posesion of crack vs cocaine when doctors say the effects on the body (other than the shirt time bigger, instant high you get with crack) are very much the same.....but I dunno.
BTW, I've never really heard of peeps ODing on coke unless they were taking something else with it...like pills, other drugs, or lots of alcohol. Whatever pulls the body in different directions. Or if the stuff was laced with some bad stuff.
I did a big report on it in high school and got access to the results of a lot of peeps deaths in Florida (no names though) that involved drugs and don't recall one death being from only Cocaine...it was always a combination. |

not necessarily. i had my neck surgery over 2 years ago and i still have times where i am in extreme pain....vicodin helps but mostly i just live through the pain. i have had the same bottle of pills now for over 6 months(i get a new prescription about once or twice a year) and it's mostly full. i take them very sparingly but pain can still be there even after a fair amount of time |

Sources tell TMZ DJ AM had been "completely devastated" over a recent breakup with his girlfriend, Hayley Wood.
We're told they split within the last week -- she was the one who called off their relationship.
We're also told he was having a very hard time dealing with post-traumatic stress from the plane crash he survived in September of last year.
DJ AM has been sober for nine years, but our sources say the breakup and the stress over the plane crash could have caused him to start using drugs again.
UPDATE: Hayley posted video of the couple having fun on a yacht while on vacation in France earlier this month -- the video was posted on Wood's YouTube account August 15.
After a kiss from AM, Hayley takes a leap overboard.

Ya, true. Ive only heard people oding where they want to the hospital and they had to have their stomach pumped. Never heard any deaths related by coke only. |
