Nou, you should have made it a 'warfare' thread in general (even if your game is a simulation).
More people might be able to participate, and it can get bumped next time the US declares war on some random country! :p |

Done...
After 3 hours we only took two of the four objectives.
None of the armor elements decided to show up tonight AND none of the infantry decided to take AT weapons so they were fighting tanks with assault rifles and grenades... |

im glad i do not actually dress up in BDU when I play... I am not that much of a nerd.
tbh i will probably just keep posting in the random thread.
I need to start taking more screenies from this game... there are some really beutiful areas... :p |

Yea, FDF was my favorite mod for OFP. ing very well done.
Their maps are awesome and some of the things they added to the game were great. It seems that the AI was actually smarter with the FDF mod.
I will never forget the time that I sent two BMP-2 up this road and at the top in the bushes was a TOW emplacement. I kept running the mission for fun. Almost every time the TOW took out one BMP-2, and the other one would advance and try to fire on the TOW but couldn't ever really pick it out so it would get wasted too.
One time though, possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen in OFP/ArmA happened.
The BMP-2s are going down in column formation on the road fairly fast, the first one gets hit and explodes in front. The second SLAMS on its breaks, slides to a stop sideways, POPS SMOKE, turns its turret back up the road and starts firing cover fire as it hauled ass back the way it came.
Totally ing nuts. My jaw was on the floor. I never saw it do that again. :( |
