| if a site is displaying a flash animation, how do you go about saving it. i was visiting a site that has a cool flash video and i wanted to save it to my HD but when i did a right click the option to save was not there. how can i save flash animations ??? |

Click on "View/Show Source", with rightclick button somewher outside the animation but still on the current page. Then look for the object code. The file with the extension *.swf is the animation.
Now copy the location of the file.
(If it looks like this: ...src="/blabla/animation.swf"... ,
copy the url, and replace the location of the current page in the adress field(ex:www.anim.com/anim.html change to: www.anim.com/blabla/animation.swf).
This action is to check the location of the file. If you find it(you should!) a new page will open but only with the animation in it (like with pictures).
Now copy the location (http://blabla.swf) into Download Accelerator or any other download manager where you can enter the url.
Now you should be downloading the animation.

| now that i've downloaded the file onto my HDD...what program can i use to view it ? |

you'll need the flash player or shockwave player from macromedia.
go to www.macromedia.com and check around the downloads area...
but if you already viewed it on the web page...then you should be able to see it already no? oh well. just download the playa manually. ;) |

umm u will need a standard Flash plugin or Flashviewer/shockwave viewer to see it..
but u ca'nt edit it.. unless u get ur hands on the .FLA file too |

U actually just need Internet Explorer, I think u have Flash allready. Otherwise u wouldn't be able to view it in the first place! |

MmMM sometimes you can edit it :D
When the person forgot to mark "protect from import" hehe
Ya can always try to import :D it worked several times for me lol ;)
But always give credits to the guys who made it.. flash takes a lot of time.. and skillz |
