So is it possible to locate where (geographically) this number is? Do you get certain numbers depending on state or something?

| For future reference, you can always search google by searching "858 area code" and it will tell you the city it is. :) |

| The area code of a cell phone will tell you where the phone number was originally assigned to that person, but you can move and keep the same cell phone number, including the same area code, so it is not a guarantee of present location. |

| Also, that area code list is out dated. The US has been getting a lot of overlays recently. 714 has an overlay of 657. It has had this since Sept 2008. |
