Delay compesation when recording hardware synths

Hiya I just hooked up my korg and want to use it in my songs. When I record it is ever so slightly out of sync I know this is a natural latency and its not bad but it is noticable.

How do I automatically compensate for this in Cubase SX3?

thanks

zoom in on the first few samples of what you recorded. line up your marker and delete the silence upto the first synth note. 5 second job ;)

Thats what I have been doin I just know that there is a delay compensation thing that automatically does it. I suppose though you would then need to know exactly what the delay was. Oh well not a big issue

You compensate for the delay in your midi channel. Devices => Device Setup => VST Audio Bay. From there you have an in/out latency. Add these two numbers up and put in the amount on the little clock symbol on the far left pane of your MIDI track. Under the "off" and "off".
