Arson @ Stereo Montreal for the second time.....

Fire @ Stereo Nightclub in Montreal confirmed to be arson for second time in a year :( :(
The night club was set to be reopened this labour day weekend. Such a shame :( :( GREAT nightclub. Seems like some shady things going down if this happened twice?? A few interesting comments from the locals below the article..........

| that's really scary, since i just walked by it 2 weekends ago and all of the local TAs were excited about the reopening. shame :/ |

andrew, if it opens, you of ALL people should go there. The sound system is ranked one of the best and the space is amazing.
awesome, awesome parties go on in there, and they also have an afterhours spot right in the same building (stereobar). The have trance nights but you know those MTL'ers love their techno! ;)
I have to feel bad for Scott (the owner) :( :( |

yea alot of dj's say its one of the best clubs in the world
and i heard calderone,tenaglia,roger sanchez etc all spin crazy marathon sets there cause they love it so much
and yes like you said they have crazy techno parties as well |

It's actually the third time an arson has happened there. The first one did minimal damage.
I'm really hopeful that it does reopen again as I'm told it was just the facade that was really damaged in the fire.
Everyone knows who did it but proving it is another matter :( |

paying tribute in your avatar? ;) Je manque Montréal. juste une ville étonnante avec beaucoup amis (hehe do you like my attempt at french?).....
its too bad I only make it up there once a year. :( :( I just adore the city and the scene.

yeah and apparently trance DJ's love the space, too. Iknow its one of markus schulz's fav places to play as well. They definitely have a vibe like no other in montreal! |

Actually I had my sig up for a long time with Stereo's addy. The East Bound and Down thing I've had too hahaha.
I love Montreal! I miss Selma + my Montreal wifey Lysiane :( I need to get back up there soon. I was gonna go see Danny Howells up there in October once I got my passport. |

haha awww I miss my selma too :( but she has been living in Toronto for some time now, so its hard to meet up in montreal now!! hehe :)
I think next year I NEED to make it a priority for Black and Blue. :crazy: too much going on this year, but I wanna go to that before I retire ;) |

That's right! I forgot she moved to Toronto. I just associate her with the good times I had at Stereo and hanging out in Montreal. Lysiane is one of my best friends who prob would be my gf if not for being so far away etc. haha.
I havent seen you since Minitek as well. I was in perfect working order at Studio B too lol;) |
