Think I might have a staph infection (pg. 3)

Got it checked out this morning, the doctor thought it was staph and prescribed antibiotics. She tried to suck some pus out of it with a needle to send off for analysis, but was not able to get a good sample despite poking into my elbow and rooting around in there twice. Pointless pain.

I know. To be honest though, like if I get a zit on my face or something I love popping them! :p Its a strange thing to enjoy, but it usually feels so much better after.
I only wish my skin was worse, I'd spend all day picking at my face.... :p

| I enjoy scratching mosquito bites. Unfortunately, I think that may have been the cause of this infection, as I had a bunch of them around my left elbow recently. I may have broken the skin on one of the bites, allowing it to get infected. Stupid. |

And yeah, I know about MRSA and necrotizing fasciitis, thanks very much. When I suspected it might be a staph infection, I had plenty of scenarios play through my head in which I was either losing limbs or dying.
