Exactly. And also because it was not free to get in like it usually is. They were even charging for the main room, and it was empty in the mainroom at 12:45 when we walked in. So the people that were on the terrace actually paid to get into Space & see PVD, as opposed to other weeks when 95% of the crowd gets in free & would not pay to get into Space. |

Exactly! That free riff raff crowd sucks! It is a ty ass crowd. I loved the crowd that was there for PVD! I know everyone may not have been happy with his set but I know a "Majority" enjoyed it!
I went to see Tiesto last month and the production of the show obviously was better but PVD threw it down harder and better than Tiesto, I don't give a what any of you say either so take that with a grain of salt bitches!
Oh and Cedric didn't even know what to do after a set like PVD's his ed up like 3 times. You should have seen the look on his face lmao! LP was doing a better job than Cedric, how sad is that! They should get new resident dj's altogether. |

You know it. I'm all for guestlists, but when people actually have to pay to get in, they are more likely to be there for the right reasons. We partied our asses off, as did many of the people around us that we did not even know. Yet everyone was super friendly for once, just having fun, got along & were cool with each other. I did not see the usual high number of idiots all banged up out-of-control constantly bumping into everyone and looking for problems.
I cannot speak to Tiesto's set or what everyone else thought of PVD. I only know we all liked PVD's set, including househeads, techheads and tranceheads that were in our group and/or that I met. To me that makes the set a success, even if I wanted more trance like always ;) |

Glad you feel the same way dude! I know a couple of people who didn't like his set but I don't care cause people have different opinions. He mixed it all up which was a great thing!
It just sucks that there are no more events like this on the horizon except for techno artists coming through to Space :( |

it was great seeing so many of you guys again. i missed partying with ya'll. ivan, liz, richard, rose, deon, ant, simon, doug,mike, emm & bro. sorry if i missed anyone. great meeting iclone, dreambeamz, denzo, vlad and a few others(i think :crazy: ) it was a great night for sure. Had several moments where i couldnt stop laughing. several wtf moments also. and the men's bathroom was like a one-liners show each time i went.
pvd stopped playing around 5:55(when's the last time he played for long at space???) the last couple of hours although sort of a blur, were def my favorite because he banged it out. whole set was very enjoyable, hope to catch his wmc set. |

YEAH those fukers lol jk. Apparently I was trying to dance on the box (along with some other chick) and we kept getting kicked off cuz NO ONE was allowed on the magical box lol.
Needless to say Saturday is hazy lol. Ended up leaving earlier than I wanted to because I guess too much drinking? It was weird because I felt fine then I blacked out and popped right back up a couple hours later lol. Either way LP had a pretty decent opening set, he's gotten tons better. I'm saying this with a straight face, it wasn't that bad.
From what I remember from PvD, it sounded very mediocre nothing wow. Some tell me it was good some say it was different. I heard it was tech housey too and that's not what I expect from PvD anyways. I am truly debating on whether I will see him again for WMC :/ if I do, I won't be drinking anything but AQUA! lol.
And good seeing & hanging out with the usuals! :D |
