Airbase? Thread Closed? :( Why?

Really, we were having a nice discussion... it wasn't even real flaming. And suddenly two threads about it are closed, without even a reason as to why?
It's my opinion that people should be able to post their thoughts on an issue. What's the problem? People criticize tons of dj's and producers every day on this site... I don't see those threads getting closed?
This thread isn't meant to provoke anyone and I'm not trying to start a flamewar with the mods (who have been getting their share of flames lately). I just want a peaceful discussion about sharing mp3's...

Swamper should make a new forum for mod flaming, seeing as how it's so popular these days...

I don't know what's been going on around here with thread closings and flame wars, but hopefully the problem will be addressed in the near future... for the sake of TA :D |

I don't see it as a 'peaceful discussion' when every other post within the thread is attacking the thread starter and/or attacking the person who just replied...

By 'peaceful discussion' I was referring to this thread, not the closed one(s). But even those weren't so bad... There was only one person being criticized, and that was airbase, because his attitude sucks. I think people should be able to take criticism, in the end it only helps matters.
