I was wondering, when your listing to a live set, do you prefer crowd sounds, or not.
I personally do, i think it catches the feel of the muzik, and its always great, when you hear a crowed go insane, when a DJ drops a great tune. |

| Definately...I rarely listen to a full liveset if there's no crowd. |

| it really doesnt matter to me. i'll listen with or without. but there are times when the crowd gets really annoying. the example that comes to mind is Ferry Corsten - Rosmantagerave 2001 (sp?). someone in the crowd had a hella annoying whistle . went on the WHOLE set! |

| DEFINATELY CROWD!....take Sasha's Essential Mix (NYE '99) for example, that crowd is wicked, especially when that remix of Heaven Scent is dropped :eyespop: :D :eek: |

The crowd can be good in a liveset provided;
a) You don't hear a girl yell "woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" througout the whole set. (like in the Welcome To The Club sets)
b) You don't have those retards with the horns. (like the Homelands sets)
c) You don't have the fags blowing the whistle throughout the set. |

Whistles and horns need to be destroyed.
But I like the crowd, it adds more to the set more often than not. |

Get rid of the blokes with the horns and whistles, and just hear the crowd charting the djs name when it goes quiet. But when i am really into a set, listening to it, to be honest i dont pay attention to the crowd, im just listening to the music.
But i much prefere livesets normally, coz the way the dj makes the tracks sound miles better by tweaking etc :)
Cant wait for gatecrasher 2moro night with ferry, jules, armin, 00 flemming, mauro piu.
Im gonna die :) |

In Pulser Cloudwalking i love how you can hear the crowd and you hear Tiesto talk. SImply amazing. Totally adds to the feel. |

| In one of the new Corsten sets, you hear the crowd chanting "Ferry, Ferry", nothing like that. But whistles and horns should be swallowed, not blown. Get rid of them. |
